Just for fun, we started to sell our spirits. Jefferson was convinced to have the best amaro in the world, perhaps he was right, so much that on its label there was the inscription: “Amaro Importante”, for the successes he had achieved in the great salons of Italy and Europe. Gil and Roger would never have expected so many awards.
From the authentic recipe of 1871 created by Mr. Jefferson, the captain of the ship wrecked in Calabria, is born the “Amaro Importante“. Today everything is reproduced in a genuine way, paying close attention to the details, such as: bergamot, bitter and sweet oranges, rosemary and oregan combined with other herbs and spices that make it a true natural and unique product. Great as after dinner, tasted smooth with an orange peel. Perfect in mixology in great classics cocktails, like Negroni and Americano, Martinez and Boulevardier used instead of vermouth.
